Mac installation Redis

1. Download the latest Redis on your website.

Http://redis.io/download

2. Copy the downloaded tar.gz compressed package (in /users/***/downloads) to the usr/local directory

sudo mv/users/***/downloads/redis-3.2.1.tar.gz/usr/local/

3. Unzip the file, install

Tar xzf redis-3.2.1.tar.gz

CD redis-3.2.1

sudo make install

Installation is complete. Need to do some configuration.

4 start

The/usr/local/bin/directory executes Redis-server, which appears.

I didn't know how to quit at that time. Only Command+c forced exit.

See what it means to configure the file.

Make the necessary configuration below. Copy the configuration file for Redis in redis-3.2.1 redis.conf to/usr/local/ect/

sudo mv/usr/local/redis-3.2.1/redis.conf/usr/local/etc/

Modify Configuration

sudo vim/usr/local/etc/redis.conf

#修改为守护模式   /usr/local/redis//usr/local/redis/log-8#找到 dir  . /  /users/**/code/redis_data/

Start Redis

/usr/local/bin/redis-server /usr/local/etc/redis.conf

Failed to start

Cannot open the file, give the owner to the current user

sudo chown-r * * redis-3.2.1

Test

View the startup log in real time when startup is complete

Tail-f/usr/local/redis/log-redis.log

Exit/USR/LOCAL/BIN/REDIS-CLI shutdown
