If you are working on SEO, you may have heard it many times. Alas, there is no one-size-fits-all and very positive answer, but through a series of practices we can distill some of the experience of approaching the goal.

How can we create a page that fits perfectly with search engine optimization standards?

In this article, I will share some of the recommendations I strongly recommend to try to achieve "perfect" with "search engine optimization on the page" and "Keyword positioning" ("Keyword lock"). All of my suggestions are data support, research and extensive testing experience, unlike some who just have the experience of blind crepe. In addition to the actual SEO work, although here's experience and knowledge can help you start to understand SEO, we suggest you still have to continue to practice and improve.

HTML header tags (HTML head tags)

Title-This is the most important page keyword element, and the page title best uses the keyword/phrase as the first word (or phrase). In our related research, the following figure shows:

Obviously, if the keyword/phrase in the title of the page in the front, then get the top ranking, and the back of the position related to get the ranking.

Description tags (Meta Description)-Although the description tag has not been used by the major search engines as a "ranking" basis, it is important to describe the keyword/phrase used to highlight the page in the search results. And we already know that it can increase the click rate, regardless of your page ranking.

Keyword tags (Meta Keywords)-Yahoo! is the only search engine that uses the recording and indexing of keyword tags, although technically not the basis for ranking. Now, however, Microsoft's Bing has taken over Yahoo! Search technology, the reason for using this label is not there anymore. So, because there is a risk of using keywords for competitive research, we never use this keyword tag in seomoz.

Robots tag (Meta robots)-This tag is not required, but at least it should be sure not to include any attributes that might cause the search engine not to index your page.

Rel= "Cononical"-if the Web site is larger and more complex (and maintained in larger and sprawling teams), the more we recommend that you use canonical URL tag (the authoritative link tag) to prevent potentially repetitive, unintentional, and extended URL strings. In case the search engine disperses the weight and rank of a good page.

Other tags-other tags, such as DCMI or FGDC requirements, now seem to be of no use to SEO.

URL (web address)

Length-short URLs seem to be handled better in search engines and are easier to copy, paste, share, and link to other sites.

Keyword position-The closer the keyword in the URL is to the domain name, the better the effect. Therefore, Site.com/keyword is much stronger than Site.com/folder/subfolder/keyword, and is also our most recommended optimization method (although this may have a lot of URLs and keywords of the site rankings are not good)

Sub-domain name (subdomains) vs page (pages)-we previously said in our blog that although using keywords in a subdomain might be less advantageous than a subfolder or page, the search engine's link-width allocation algorithm (Links popularity assignment Algorithms) tends to prefer subfolders and pages, rather than subdomains.

Character (Word separators)-dash (-) is still the best character of the keyword in the URL, although the search engines are underlined (_) is the same, but in order to avoid conflict with other methods, or with the dash.

Text tags (body tags)

Number of repetitions of keywords--it is not likely to determine in one page exactly how many keywords/phrases are best, but our long experience shows that shorter pages use 2-30, and longer pages use 4-60 better than keyword. And the benefits of using synonyms over this indicator seem to be less obvious and less sensible.

Keyword density (keywords density)-although the keyword density as an integral part of the ranking algorithm has been ingrained in the best SEO mind. But a page using more keywords/phrases can improve the positioning and ranking of keywords, so there is no doubt that keyword density has never been used as an indicator of the ranking formula to measure.

Use of keyword variants (keyword usage variations)-The theory of using keywords in the page to help optimize content, I've always wondered if it really affects search engine rankings (though I've never looked at it carefully enough to convince me), try it. We recommend that you use at least one or two variants of a phrase in a page, or you can separate key phrases into phrases if possible.

H1 title (H1 headline)-H1 tags are considered important for page search engine optimization for a long time. We recently studied the associated data but showed that it had little to do with the high rankings (actually almost 0). While this is compelling evidence, the reasons for SEO and semantics have proved to be of little relevance. But we still recommend using the H1 tag appropriately as the page's headline, and better yet, add a keyword/phrase to it.

H2/H3/H4/HX-more unimportant than H1, we recommend using them only when needed. These tags do not have much value for SEO.

ALT attribute-Surprisingly, this ALT attribute has long been thought to contain less SEO weights, but our association data studies show that they are highly correlated with high rankings. Therefore, we strongly recommend that when using a picture on a page that is positioned on an important keyword, remember to add the ALT attribute to the label "IMG" of the picture.

Picture file name-since the traffic from the picture has become a steady source of access, and the file name of the picture has become valuable in natural search, we recommend using a keyword/phrase as the filename for the picture in the page.

Bold/Accent (Bold/strong)-use bold/accent to indicate a keyword with very little seo weights, so it is recommended to use a bold/accent at least once for keywords/phrases, although that's a bit of weight.

Italic/Emphasis (italtic/emphasized)-Surprisingly, italic/accent text shows a higher degree of relevance to the page rankings than bold/accent, so we recommend that you use both formats on the target keyword/phrase.

Internal link anchor text (Internal link anchors)-No tests show internal link anchor text being crawled by search engines and used to calculate rankings.

HTML annotations (HTML Comments)-like the above, it looks like the search engine ignores HTML annotations.

Internal links and locations in the site structure

Click Depth-In general, we recommend that the more competitive and challenging keywords/phrases in the rankings should occupy a higher position in the overall architecture of the site (therefore, users should be able to click as few times as possible from the homepage to reach that page).
