MapReduce program Local Debug/Hadoop operations local file system


Empty the configuration file under Conf in the Hadoop home directory. Running the Hadoop command at this point uses the local file system, which allows you to run the MapReduce program locally and manipulate the files on the disk.
Example: Kenthadoopunit jar Newsprocessmr.jar view.txt out view
This will execute the MapReduce program locally, which can be easily debugged locally.
You can also run jobs locally using the streaming method.
