Recently, my younger brother participated in the service outsourcing competition and selected an Account Management System of the MIS type. During the kick-off meeting, the team was highly recommended as the customer relationship manager. In accordance with the requirements of the competition, the responsibilities of the Customer Relationship manager mainly include: communication and collaboration between team members, communication with customers at various stages of project development, market research and user demand mining, feasibility analysis, including cost analysis.
The previous responsibilities are my strengths, but I am not very clear about the cost analysis. I certainly will not give up on this learning opportunity if I like to solve the problem.
After two days of reading, the younger brother gradually had a certain understanding of the software valuation, and then tried to perform preliminary calculations based on the solutions provided on the Internet. In the subsequent development process, with the in-depth understanding, we made some modifications to the cost estimation. Although I cannot know the real price of the project, I believe that the calculated cost will not be too far different from the original project cost.
The calculation procedure of the younger brother is: estimate the number of Function Points for the project-> Project Development workload (person-month)-> development cost/person-month-> total development cost. It is difficult to calculate the number of functional points of the project. The younger brother is not an expert and there are no senior personnel in the team. This is really difficult, but he finally took the fruit. The following is a rough estimation of function points.
Limited by the younger brother level, the above is just a rough description. For details, see the article link below.
Next, I will share some of the articles I have encountered during my learning.
