The detailed steps are as follows:

1. drive your cat

3. configure dialing

Open Applications-> Internet-> gnome ppp;

Click the "Setup" button at the bottom;

Select Detect in the Modem. wait a moment. If no prompt is displayed, the system is successful. Otherwise, go back to the driver installation step;

When you use a phone card to Dial up the Internet, you can enter the verification information in the Dial prefix. Here is

Select the Options tab;

The following options are available:

Desktop Integration

Dock in notification area (displayed in the notification area, recommended)

Auto reconnect (optional)

Abort connecting if line is busy

Abort connecting if no dialtone (optional)

Check carrier line ("Connected, but carrier signallost! Retrying ...", The dial cannot be successful, not selected)

Ignore terminal strings (stupid mode)

Click "Close" to return to the main interface.

IV. dialing
