This kind of speculation comes with new evidence that Microsoft has built support for the USB thumb driver device to facilitate police scanning of hard drives. For online computers, the police can traverse hard disks and decrypted passwords without shutting down the computers during a raid to avoid the loss of critical evidence.

"We have invested a lot of resources in this area, but it is not to make money ." Microsoft's legal adviser, Brad Smith, told the Seattle Times that "we are doing this to enhance network security ."

The thumb drive has 150 commands and can record the activity of the hard disk, including browsing records and decrypted passwords. Microsoft has provided this device for free since last year. It is said that more than 2000 agents are in use in 15 countries.

However, Microsoft clearly ignores any technical means which, after being exploited by others with ulterior motives, will cause a terrible disaster.
