Microsoft's internal positions are classified into two categories:

Vendor employee(V -*)
-This is generally interpreted as an informal employee. An email has a V-prefix and can access most of the company's network resources. The difference from formal employees lies mainly in the treatment and welfare.

Generally, vendor employee exists in the following situations:
1. Your requirements and qualifications have been met or even exceed the requirements, but the company or department does not have FTE indicators and budget this year, and will temporarily give you the position of associated or vendor employee
2. Your own conditions and qualifications cannot meet the requirements, but we believe that you can improve and ready in the next 3-6 months, then you will be given a position of V-* in this period of time.
3. The nature of the work of this department determines that there are very few fte in this department, and only employees of V-* Can be invited (my current department does not belong to this situation)

Full time employee (FTE)
-This generally refers to formal employees who are entitled to all the company's benefits and responsibilities.

Hrinterview process:
First, you must have at least two rounds of interviews with technical to determine your technical background, project experience, and programming skills. If yes.
One or two rounds of business-oriented interviews (more than two rounds of FTE requirements, one round of vendor.
Then another round of interviews will be conducted by the department director. If yes. The last round of interview will be conducted by the Department and the big boss of the group. Generally, this person can decide whether to hire you.

Sub = subcontract

Generally, we outsource some of the functions of the project to our partners or suitable developers. Sub is not an employee of our company. There is no company email alias. Generally, his income is based on project case by case. Different projects may be different. There are two payment methods: one is that we pay for the company where he is located, the other is that we pass our company-certified vendor, and the fee is transferred to his individual, of course, this will bring income tax and business tax stipulated by the state. Generally, our consultants will bring sub into the project in a head-on manner and assign work to sub. after the project is completed, sub will leave.

In the form of IBM or HP, they often make a general package, for example, they do equipment and hardware, software development or what they are not good at is outsourced to the partner or other development teams, however, our sub generally refers to the composition of developers, that is, the part of non-company personnel. In addition, you will also find that some Microsoft users do not start with V-*, but I-*, that is, they start with I, this generally refers to the difference between intern/internal employee (I'm not sure about this term) and employee V-* or employee FTE, because it usually happens in the following situation: intern or access scholar nature-generally a fixed period of time in the company's internship, such as six months, there will be a company email alias within six months, six months later, he had to leave some departments to recruit some fixed contract employees, such as two years, then two years later, he had to leave the company, and the signing of this will explain this.

Generally, employees of V-* will sign a contract with a Microsoft-certified company, and the company will sign a contract with the company. I-* is generally the same as his individual signature or V-*, and with the vendor signature. However, I-* generally requires time. This statement indicates that you must agree in advance and you must leave the contract after the deadline expires. After leaving, you can apply for a V-* or FTE position, but you must check the position once. While V-* Can turn positive and transfer into an FTE employee, and the time limit is not as mandatory as I.
