Mplayer achieves no border in Xfce

Mplayer implements borderless-Linux Release Technology-Debian information under Xfce. The following is a detailed description. If you are in a KDE environment, it's easy!

Alt + Ctrl + Y

GNOME and XFCE are not that easy.

I know two solutions.

When compiling mplayer, add the code

Gtk_window_set_decorated (window, FALSE)

Not very convenient, because debian is like apt-get.

Another method: Use devilspie to implement window control.

Although devilspie is a gnome program, it can be used normally in xfce, but the dependency may be more than the native xfce program.

The deiban I used is testing.

Install devilspie:

# Apt-get install devilspie

Now let's make a simple configuration:

$ Mkdir ~ /. Devilspie
$ Gedit ~ /. Devilspie/mplayer. ds &

Copy the following code to mplayer. ds:

(If
(Is (application_name) "mplayer ")
(Undecorate)
)

After the configuration is complete, start

$ Devilspie

Run mplayer to check the effect.
