MySQL Learning Note 03-mysql installation

Mysql| notes since I am a beginner of MySQL, I learned it under Windows XP (with SP2), so I only introduce Windows XP installation. First from the official website http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/directly download, or from the relatively fast image of the mirror site download, I add a new slope mirror site http://mysql.hjc.edu.sg/downloads/index.html relatively fast. China's Mirror website: http://mysql.linuxforum.net/.　　If we find that there is a relatively fast mirror, also let me know. MySQL has a beta and stable version, now the latest beta is 5.0.4beta, the latest stable version is 4.1.11, recommended for beginners to install a stable version. After downloading is a Zip compressed package: Mysql-4.1.11-win32.zip, with WinZip or WinRAR decompression after running setup.exe to install.　　The installation process, like other Windows installers, is installed in the C:\Program Files folder by default and can be modified by itself, and I am installed in the E:\MySQL Server 4.1 directory. After the installation is complete, the MySQL Configuration Wizard will start automatically and follow the prompts. The "MySQL" folder in Start-All programs is a shortcut to access the MySQL client. The configuration Wizard has MySQL as a service for Windows XP, and every time Windows XP starts the MySQL service automatically, the rest is to connect the MySQL server with the MySQL client and then use it.
