MySQL max_allowed_packet setting too small causes record write failure

Source: Internet
Author: User

Due to the recent soaring data volume, the following error message appears when querying:

Com.mysql.jdbc.PacketTooBigException:Packet for query is too large (2054817 > 1048576). You can change this value on the server by setting the Max_allowed_packet

This means that when querying the MySQL database, the returned query result is too large, exceeding the mSQL setting.

Workaround:

Add or modify in Mysql.ini (such as max_allowed_packet=16m) (note that the addition of the [client] and [MySQL] sections is invalid, and that is the parameter read by the client. )
