Red Hat Enterprise linux 5.0 was installed for the first time yesterday.
Follow the prompts In the tutorial to install linux one step by one. After installation is complete, the following error occurs:

1. XP cannot be started, and no XP option is found at startup. There is an other option. After selecting this option, the computer will crash.

2. Many linux commands cannot be used, such as ifconfig

3. Unable to install new programs. The install of the new program cannot be executed.

4. It takes a long time to shut down the computer (system-off, sometimes). If the computer remains unchanged for more than 10 minutes, you have to press the power supply. Restart is definitely not acceptable.


5. Configure the network.
