According to foreign media SoftPedia, the developer Didier Roche released the new Ubuntu Make tool today, adding many new features in the latest 16.01.2 version, such as supporting Apple's open-source Swift programming language, the "umake swift" command can be easily installed on the Ubuntu Linux operating system.
Roche said: "last week in Pasadena, I was honored to announce the new Ubuntu Make version at the UbuCon summit. This tool has reached the 16.01.2 milestone. The successful release of this version also thanks to the community for providing three completely new support frameworks ."
The Ubuntu Make tool is a command line application. You can use it in Ubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf), Ubuntu 15.04 (Vivid Vervet), and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) in the terminal application. Ubuntu Make is also the default software repository for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus.
