For beginners, use GHOST to back up your system-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following section. I have asked a lot of questions about Linux backup in many forums, but I still don't understand the backup policy in Linux (I am stupid)
Today, I wanted to use Ubuntu's Live CD disk and mount my FC8 for backup. I suddenly found that I could only recognize hda8, that is,/boot, and hda9 under Ubuntu, prompt not to know LVM file system ...... Epiphany: When Fedora is installed, there are two partitions by default. One is ext3, the mount point is/boot, and the other is LVM volume group ...... No wonder you can only see/boot when you want to use GHOST to back up the system ......
So I reinstalled it, tried GHOST again, and found that I recognized it ...... Quickly make a full backup of the clean system ......
Finally, you don't have to worry about the bad system. In case of a serious problem, GHOST :)
Just a few minutes to keep your system intact!
It is strongly recommended for new users .. After all, it's really time-consuming to reload old files ...... What we need to learn is to understand and use it, not just to learn how to reinstall it.
