I use VMware Workstation6.0, which is easy to set. The method is as follows:

1. the VM is well installed --> Install Vmware tools;

2. decompress the * tar.gz file to a directory. I decompress the file under the Desktop;

3, enter the directory, directly execute sudo./vmtools-install.pl, all the problems are press enter, OK!

Initially I thought I would use the sudo apt-get * command, but the result would not be needed. If the veteran reads it, it is estimated that there is nothing. It is a little big for a cainiao without a map.

My solution is to first decompress the file to the desktop and use the "application" --- "attachment" --- "terminal ", open the window, run the ls and CD commands, step by step from the desktop into the folder where the vmware-install.pl is located, and then enter: sudo. /vmware-install.pl, prompt to enter the password, the input process without any prompts, such as *, blank, no matter, as long as the password is correct.

Then, when the cursor blinks, it will stop, and then press enter and follow the prompts to enter YES. It is recommended that the installation be completed. Restart.

Install VMTOOLS.

Start again. before entering the user name, my screen will flash. Completed successfully.
