Odi 12.1.3 released to improve support for Big Data

The new version of ODI is released to better support the Big Data Platform on the current market.

Without changing the efficiency of Odi, Odi has added more and more data source integration capabilities. ODI is a standard E-LT tool on the Oracle platform and, in fact, a data integration tool for Oracle Applications. Therefore, to keep pace with the times, increasing integration of popular data sources on the market is inevitable. This increase includes:
1. JSON supported
2. Integrate hadoop sqoop
3. Integrate hbase
Odi now supports mutual derivative between relational databases and HDFS, hive, and hbase.
The knowledge module enhances the features of data migration by enhancing the knowledge module of Odi. It is a major feature of ODI and can be flexibly customized and extended. For example, the knowledge module of Odi can append data to a text file after writing data to hive.

Enhanced security and performance
Increasing the processing capability of big data does not mean the weakening of traditional technologies. Odi 12.1.3 updates all passwords and sensitive information to the federal information processing standard (FIPs) standard.
In terms of performance processing, two methods are used to improve performance. One is that the target table can be loaded through parallel connections, and the other is that developers are allowed to control the loading jobs, and developers are determined which jobs can be run in parallel.
