This month, I started to work in a relatively formal State. It is more formal because I am no longer learning skills and communication methods like new graduates, this month, we started to develop a project for a GPS project. This was also mentioned during recruitment. The company may be mainly engaged in the work of GPS, therefore, I was prepared to attend a training session, mainly for the GPS part. My colleagues from TP talked about it. I also saw the video from my colleague, I recorded it three years ago. This time I re-learned GPS and had a comprehensive understanding of GPS. I no longer only knew what GPS was before, only knowing that some printed information can be read through the serial port illustrates the problem stage.AlgorithmWith a theoretical understanding, of course, the development of real GPS algorithms will not be done, but we still have an understanding of the entire algorithm, I also had an understanding of the changes in GPS over the past three years. The biggest change was to gradually get rid of the constraints of the United States and use satellites from other places to assist, for example, the Russian satellite positioning, of course, is only for the needs of different customers, but this trend is still emerging, it should be that the major GPS manufacturers also need such a dynamic, however, it is not obvious yet. Maybe some day, the Chinese mainland's Beidou will gradually locate the main positioning satellite emitter body, which is hard to say.

GPS on mobile devices is indeed a relatively complex task, such as chip design, algorithm design, overall interaction processing, and device structure design. There are still a lot of links, but in the sense of M club, it is indeed a relatively large company, the overall division of labor is clear, and each has its own responsibilities, the entire project started from the beginning of last month, and before the May Day holiday, the Alpha Project was basically fixed. The rest is that some scanning jobs are being pushed. The GPS part of the entire device has been tested. From the sensitivity to the power consumption of the entire device, the tests are basically completed, although there are some minor problems, there is no problem with the chip shipment. If this was put in the past, it may still be worrying about the selection of GPS, not to mention what mold design and GPS should be placed in the mold, and how to configure the antenna.

what is embarrassing at present is that third-party navigation software is not yet in place. This time, What is amazing is that third-party navigation software was developed by a company owned by a friend of mine, it was also said that it was time to meet the requirements and the results were no longer needed. When the development team of the navigation software arrived, it could be developed together. Looking back, the GPS software is indeed more detailed in driving, the entire process is more detailed, the algorithm is responsible for solving the algorithm, the control transfer is responsible for data and control, the interface is very simple at the end, which reduces the development difficulty for the third party. The navigation software only needs to read data from those API interfaces to navigate. This is very convenient. I learned a truly complete function here, not to mention how complicated it is to be implemented as a whole, the entire Program and function structure are so complex that the actual operation is simple and the overall architecture is robust, that is, the robustness we mentioned in software engineering. The only pity is that I have not seen the GPS algorithm code for the time being, but I already have it. Please read it this month and repeat the entire interface and the underlying algorithm.

This time, the only thing that seems to be lacking is probably because the usage of GPS in the current field is indeed not very high. It seems that the overall attention is not very high, but this is related to the overall development direction, but fortunately, GPS is also the main function. Currently, the GPS function on mobile phones is not very popular in China, and this market does exist, however, the actual usage has not reached the peak. It depends on the marketing and performance of the product. Can PND or other vehicle navigation be replaced by mobile navigation? This is a problem, and foreign markets do not know how. Currently, there is no time to read data. However, for mobile phones like iPhone and Android, GPS is not required for every device in the real sense. For iPhone, the 3g/3gs clearly states that there is GPS, but it is assisted GPS. This assisted GPS is not very good to say what's going on, though. At present, however, this still depends on the real use of mobile phones by consumers. After all, there are few in China. However, with the development of the navigation software, we heard an exciting news that Google Maps navigation will be available on the iPhone, and other platforms will be faster. Although it seems to have little to do with us, it seems to coincide with the evolution of a navigation software. In the future, we may not have to worry about having a 2G tcard or a huge Chinese map on the SD card. At that time, can GPS on mobile phones replace PND or vehicle navigation? Continue to think. Haha. PND can be avoided, car-mounted can be simplified, and mobile phones cannot be used. Haha. Sneer.

Finally, let's talk about the work, which can be said to be tired, so we still have to have a Saturday off every month. If we go to the sixth day, God will not be able to keep up with his physical strength, physical strength is still the same. Because I don't need to go to work late at night, I am a little overwhelmed now. In addition, I still need to go to work on Saturday. there are indeed many other gains, it may take some time to complete things. After all, on Saturday, many people have flashed through, and the lab is relatively empty, so there is no need to grab equipment. Alas, although it is a big company, there is still a shortage of resources. No way. It will be right tomorrow. Check the procedures.
