The release of Batman: The Rise of the Dark Knight has sparked a flurry of posters and images of Batman. What we're going to learn together here is how to use Photoshop to create a poster of Batman: The Rise of the Dark Knight.

In this PS tutorial, you first create a template and use some basic filters and a spray brush effect. The PS technology used in this Photoshop tutorial is relatively simple and suitable for PS beginners ' learning practice.

First step:

Open Photoshop to create a new document with 2560x1600 pixels. Then search the web for a "bane" picture footage. Click here to download the Bane material.

Step Two:

Using the Polygonal Lasso tool (L), pull out Bane's head.

Step Three:

Copy Bane's head layer, then select Filter-Filter Gallery-Sketch, click Halftone Pattern, select 1 size, 43 contrast and dot pattern type. Make sure that you are using a black foreground color and a white background color.

Fourth Step:

Search the web for a picture of the "Batman" logo and use it as Bane's eye.
