Article Title: Practical Tips: mount a Linux system partition. Linux is a technology channel of the IT lab in China. Includes basic categories such as desktop applications, Linux system management, kernel research, embedded systems, and open source.
Like windows, manual partition modification often happens in linux. But linux is a little more difficult than windows:
After the partition is modified, it is naturally mounted in/etc/fstab, rather than mounted after/etc/rc. local is started.
How to write?
Here we will modify "LABEL =/nat ext3 rw, noatime" as an example:
1. umount/nat
2. e2label/dev/hdd3/nat
3. mount LABEL =/nat
4. Modify and write to/etc/fstab
For example:
LABEL =/nat ext3 rw, noatime 1 2
In this case, do not go through step 1, step 2, or step 3. Otherwise, you will receive the following error message to enter the filesystem repair mode:
Fsck. ext3: unable to resolve/LABEL =/nat'
Give root password for maintenance
(Or type control-D to continue ):
What should I do if this error occurs? The method is as follows:
Enter the repair system mode, enter the runtime Level 1 (init 1), and then return to runtime level 3 (init 3). However, I am in fedora5, as tested on redhat enterprise, the system may be read-only and can be changed to read/write through mount-n-o remount and rw.
