4. Install the system and perform the same operations as normal machines. Take installing RedHatLinux as an example. swap calls 512 M, and the root directory calls 7-8G. swap selects full installation, and then starts a long wait (the default VM memory is 256 M, which is relatively slow ), for three CD files, Linux installation is complete.
5. For better and more convenient development in a virtual machine environment, it is necessary to install VM-Tools. First, confirm the Administrator permission. Select VM/installvmtoolsto install the VM. A virtual optical disk will be automatically created, and the corresponding .tar.gz will be decompressed. enter will be used to set your own display format. Then, the VMWare group's Enjoy blessing will be displayed. In VM/setting/sharedfolds, select a folder as the shared folder, which corresponds to/mnt/hgfs in the Virtual Machine and can be used as the shared file channel between the virtual machine and the real host.
