PS CS Histogram error problem and repair

Error | Problem Photoshop cs Some version of the histogram of some errors display problems, please refer to the following methods to check whether there is this error and repair, traditional Chinese and English version does not have this problem.

1, open the sample image file, bring up the Histogram palette "window > Histogram", click the Round triangle button, select "Extended View" and "display statistics." In the middle of the histogram, press the mouse to the far right, and observe the color range numbers in the statistics, whether the integrity is complete and end to 255. The following left image is the wrong display. The bottom right figure is displayed correctly.

2, in the Histogram area right close to the edge of the position of the mouse, observe the color level of the value is close to 250, the following left is the wrong display, the next right figure for the correct display.

If you find a symptom of a display error, turn Photoshop off and use Notepad to open the Tw10428.dat file in the required subdirectory of the Photoshop installation directory. If Photoshop is installed in the default directory (C:\\Program Files\\adobe\\photoshop CS), you can also click the Start menu to select "Run", or press 〖win+r〗 (the Win key is the Windows logo key in the lower left corner of the keyboard, CTRL + ALT), enter the following statement in the running window: Notepad c:\\program files\\adobe\\photoshop Cs\\ Required\\tw10428.dat, you can open the file directly in Notepad.

Look for the "$/histogrampalette/stattext/cache= cache level:" In the Open Tw10428.dat, which is on line No. 7667. Deletes the high-speed level 4 words, leaving only 2 words in the cache. Exit after saving. You can then start Photoshop to resolve it. Deleted and reserved text is discretionary, but you must delete at least 3 characters to resolve the problem.

Note: Modifying the Tw10428.dat file is a character file in the Photoshop Chinese interface, and improper modification may result in an interface display error. If you delete the file or move out of the required directory, Photoshop starts with the English interface. So make a backup and do it carefully. If the operation is wrong and cannot be undone, Photoshop must be reinstalled.
