Rational rose2007 cannot start the solution normally

After installing Rational Rose, I found that it could not be started normally. I encountered the following two problems and hoped to help those who had the same experience.

Question 1:

After installing Rational Rose, the following error occurs: unable to start the program because suite object. dll is lost in the computer. Try to reinstall the program to solve this problem.

 

This is mainly because the environment variable automatically set by the installer in path is incorrect.

Solution:

First, find the suite object. dll file, as shown in figure

 

Pay attention to the "common" here ". Then, on the control panel, find "Advanced System settings ",

 

Click "environment variables" in "System Properties ",

 

Find "path" and click "edit ",

Here we can see that the path is "common ",

Change "C" in lower case to "C" in upper case, which is the same as the path of the suite object. dll file. Then confirm and solve the problem.

Question 2:

When starting Rational Rose, it's always a flash.

This may be because you did not restart your computer. You can restart the computer and try again. If the problem persists, reinstall the computer.
