Because I use virtual machine vm-work-station;
First. In the options-vm-install-tools. Click-Select Yes
Then mount the linux redhat system disk with the command: mount/dev/cdrom/media/cdrom
Then go to: cd/media/cdrom. Now, under ls, you can see the vmware-toolspackage, which is not the rpmfile, but the tar.gz source package.
The cp Command copies the package to another directory, such as/srv.
Tar zxvf vm... this is the decompression package
Cd vm ....
Ls
There is a vmware. install. pl
Run./vmware. install. pl
There will be a selection later. Press "space" or enter "yes ".
The screen size is usually 1 ~ 11
It generally recommends a proper size for you, just press Enter.
Wait for it to start. If not, restart it.
