RedHat continues to support and promote the application of Linux in the enterprise market, but the future growth of the company is centered on cloud computing, especially OpenStack. The company has just released Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, an IAAS program for OpenStack authentication, deepening the partnership with Canonical.

At the OpenStack summit held in Hong Kong this week, RedHat released many tools and services for OpenStack and enterprises.

I often asked if RedHat would support OpenStack deployment just as it supports Enterprise Linux. This is a good question, because the support provided by IOV cloud computing platform companies is differentiated, enterprises want a platform-level solution and long-term reliable support.

Red Hat has now integrated OpenStack for the new Red Hat CloudForms (3.0) version to help manage public, private, and hybrid clouds. It also announced a lot of work to support the company's open hybrid cloud vision, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 4.0 and a preview version of OpenStack-M, the latter is an open-source OpenStack release and management solution, which will be integrated into Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform in the future.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 4.0 Beta includes the OpenStack Havana and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 Beta versions, including new features for cloud computing implementation release and management. Both physical and virtual Server lifecycle management tools-Foreman; fully supports OpenStack Orchestration (Heat); enhanced integration of Red Hat Storage Server 2.1, OpenStack Object Storage (Swift ), openStack Block Storage (Cinder) and OpenStack Image Service (Glance) provide Storage services.
