Redhat9.0: the kernel is compiled, and the new kernel cannot be started-Linux general technology-Linux programming and kernel information. For more information, see the following. This is the first time I have compiled the kernel. I mainly want to implement nat in iptables on linux9.0 (2.4.20-8). Because I need nat for redirection, I will download it, the kernel is compiled in linux 2.4.24, and then the new kernel cannot be started, but the old system 9.0 can still run.

When I compile make menuconfig, it is basically because it is not selected by default. I did not change it, but I chose all the items in the network options. The result is like this. Please give me some advice.
