Problem Background:
Today, we installed RedHat Linux 9 under VMWare 6.5. During mouse configuration, because the machine uses a USB mouse, we were smart and changed the default configuration option to a USB mouse, the problem occurs, and the mouse does not work under RedHat. Based on the experiences, write down the solution for your reference.
Solution:
Enter setup-> mouse configuration-> generic-3 Button Mouse (PS/2)-> Save and exit
Another way to log on to the linux console is as follows:
Start RedHat Linux9 under VMware, and press ctrl + alt + f1 ~ F6: press it for a long time. Otherwise, exit the mouse because ctrl + alt on Vmware will jump out of the mouse.
