However, it uses an IP address instead of a computer name. It should not be a problem of LAN restrictions. However, all our colleagues in the software team project team can access the service. I try again on several computers in other offices (non-software colleagues), but I still cannot access them. However, when there are several computers, a logon window with a user name and password can pop up, the following page is displayed:

The ping command is used to test the network conditions of the machine. It is found that the IP address can be pinged normally, but the computer name of the TFS server cannot be pinged. Is it because the network host cannot be identified? Do the following:

Go to the "C: \ windows \ system32 \ drivers \ etc" directory, use NotePad to edit the hosts file, and add the IP address and Host Name of the TFS server at the end of the file.

Access the portal! The problem is solved. (Change The LmHosts. Sam file in Windows 7 ).
