A R2 has two system accounts, while allowing two TCP connections, but each user only allows one person to log in at a time. I do not know why, after shutting down the Remote Desktop Connection window, the connection will not be connected immediately. The Event Viewer is viewed, and the information is logged off because of the "allow only one person to log on per user" reason is set. But why has the Remote Desktop Connection window been closed and still unable to connect? It was later discovered that although the Remote Desktop Connection window was closed, the user was not disconnected for an unspecified reason, but the solution was found with the following steps:
- Run cmd as an administrator, then enter Taskmgr.exe and return to the system.
- Under the "Users" tab, locate the user who cannot be connected;
- If the user status is "active", right-click to select "Disconnect";
- Run MSTSC reconnect.
Tips:
- In the third step, if the user state is not "active", then it is not because the user is not disconnected caused by the inability to connect, please find another solution.
