1. create a user who needs to limit the quota
2. modify the configuration file and add the quota parameters.
Modify the configuration file # vim/etc/fstab; add usrquota (quotas for users) and kgquota (quotas for groups) after ULTS ults)
3. configuration takes effect
Method 1: # restart init 6
Method 2: # mount-o remount/mnt/sdb2 (mount point)
4. scan and load partitions
# Quotacheck-cumg mount point (if the mount point is successful, two files, aquota. group and aquota. user, will be generated under the mount point)
5. edit a user or group
# Edquota-u User name
Set soft and hard limits on the number of partitions or files
6. enable the disk quota and add write permissions to the Mount point by other users.
7. test switching between common users (function implementation)
Note: If you are prompted to have no permission at # quotacheck-cumg mount point, disable selinux.
User Group verification:
Add user u2 to group zu1 # usermod-g zu1 u2
Edit Group quota # edquota-g zu1
