1. Install Oracle database software
1) Check basic requirements (mem: 1024 M, swap: mem *. Can be skipped)
Memory size
Grep MemTotal/proc/meminfo
Swap partition size
Grep SwapTotal/proc/meminfo
Add swap Partition
Create a partition file such as/home/swap. The file size is 5120000 blocks. Generally, 1 block is 1 K, so the space here is 5 GB.
Dd if =/dev/zero of =/home/swap bs = 1024 count = 5120000
Then convert the partition into a swap partition.
Mkswap/home/swap
Then add it to fstab.
Echo "/home/swap defaults 0 0">/etc/fstab
2) check software requirements
Rpm-q binutils compat-libstdc ++-33 elfutils-libelf-devel glibc-common glibc-devel gcc-c ++ libaio-devel libaliblibgcc libstdc + + libstdc ++-devel make sysstat unixODBC-devel pdksh
If no software package is installed, you can find it from the system disk or install it using yum install.
Pdksh
I386 pdksh-5.2.14-937.1.i586.rpm
X64 pdksh-5.2.14-937.1.x86_64.rpm

The specific download directory is in/Pub/2011/09/30/RHEL6 install Oracle 11gR2/
Note that when the libaio-devel unixODBC-devel software package is installed, in addition to the X64 package, the i386 package should also be installed, not because it is an X64 system, I will not install the i386 package.
3) configure the kernel
Vim/etc/sysctl. conf
# Kernel Paramaters Required by Oracle 11gR2
Kernel. shmmax = 4294967295
Kernel. shmall = 268435456
Kernel. sem = 250 32000 100 128
Fs. file-max = 6815744
Fs. aio-max-nr = 1048576
Net. ipv4.ip _ local_port_range = 9000 65500
Net. core. rmem_default = 4194304
Net. core. rmem_max = 4194304
Net. core. wmem_default = 262144
Net. core. wmem_max = 1048576
The sysctl-p change takes effect immediately.
4) Create an operating system user as the owner of the software installation and support group.
Groupadd dba
Useradd-g dba oracle
Passwd oracle
Groupadd oinstall
Groupadd dba
Useradd-g oinstall-G dba oracle
Passwd oracle
5) set resource limits for created oracle users (using PAM)
Vim/etc/security/limits. conf
# Paramaters Required by Oracle 11gR2
Oracle soft nproc 2047
Hard nproc 16384
Oracle soft nofile 1024
Oracle hard nofile 65536
To make the restriction take effect
Vim/etc/pam. d/login
# Required by Oracle 11gR2
Session required/lib/security/pam_limits.so
Session required pam_limits.so
Note: For X64 systems, use/lib64/security/pam_limits.so. Otherwise, the system may not be able to log on to the server!
