In Ubuntu, you only need to enter the following command to download and install:
Sudo apt-get install recordmydesktop gtk-recordmydesktop

Or go to the download page and download the software package directly:

Http://recordmydesktop.sourceforge.net/downloads.php

2. Xvidcap

Deb package download: http://xvidcap.sourceforge.net

Source package download: http://sourceforge.net/project/d... 1.6.tar.gz & 51275258

Compile: sudo./configure

Sudo make

Sudo make install

If the following error occurs:

No package 'gtk +-2.0 'found
No package 'libglade-2.0 'foun

Install sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev libglade2-dev libchm-dev libssl-dev and then compile
