[SECURECRT] Resolving the issue of "SECURECRT failed to open the host key database file"

SECURECRT the Personal app data path in Windows XP and Windows 7 is different, in Windows 7, the app data path is: C:\users\<username>\appdata (hidden) \ Roaming\vandyke\config.

But the above is for the legitimate installation of registered users, for the green Pocket Edition, especially the direct copy paste version, often appear above error. This is because SECURECRT cannot find the host key database location. So after copying and pasting, you need to edit the "Host Key Database location" in the "./data/settings/config/ssh2.ini" file.

S: "Host Key Database Location" = Application root directory/data/settings/config/knownhosts

Note Quotation marks are not required to the right of the equals sign. You can even delete *.pub files and HostKeyDB.txt from the Knownhosts directory and they will be automatically generated the next time you start.
