Shared disk between VMwareLinux and Windows

After VMwareTools is installed, Windows can share files with RedHat at any time. In addition, you do not need to press Ctrl + Atl to switch the mouse. Start VMware and start RedHat. Choose VM ----> Install VMware Tools from the menu bar of VMware.

A prompt is displayed, and click Install.

RedHat will automatically mount the optical drive. The files in the optical drive include

VMwareTools-6.0.0-45731.i386.rpm
VMwareTools-6.0.0-45731.tar.gz

Copy the two files, vmwarw.ls-6.0.0-45731.tar.gz, to the root directory folder (create one), decompress the file, and right-click the package and select "decompress to subfolders.

Open the terminal and enter the folder you just created

The folder name I created is 123

View files in the folder
[Root @ localhost123] # ls

VMwareTools-6.0.0-45731.tar.gz vmware-tools-distrib

Mid-term vmware-tools-distrib is the folder after the VMwareTools-6.0.0-45731.tar.gz is extracted.

[Root @ localhost123] # cd vmware-tools-distrib/
[Root @ localhost vmware-tools-distrib] # ls
Bin doc etc files install installer lib vmware-install.pl

Run vmware-install.pl

[Root @ localhost vmware-tools-distrib] #./vmware-install.pl
