Shell array length

how Shell arrays operate number of array elements ${#array [@]} all elements of an array ${array[*]} string length ${#str}

1, get the number of elements of the array:

array= (Bill Chen Bai Hu);

num=${#array [@]}///Get the number of array elements.

traversing an array becomes a very simple thing:

For ((i=0;i<num;i++))

       {

echo ${array[i]};

       }

get the length of one cell of an array becomes:

${#array [i]}

 

2, get all the elements of the array:

${array[*]}

traversing an array is programmed with a very simple thing:

For var in ${array[*]}
