Shell -- batch add users

Source: Internet
Author: User
Useradd. sh #! /Bin/bashfornamepolicmjoyjohnmarkjamesdouseradd $ nameecho & quot; redhat & quot; | passwd -- stdin $ namedone is ready. After execution, the user t is automatically created.

Useradd. sh

#! /Bin/bash

For name in tom joy john mark james

Do useradd $ name

Echo "redhat" | passwd -- stdin $ name

Done

Now, tom, joy, john, mark, and james are created automatically after the execution, and the passwords are set to "redhat ".

This shell mainly uses useradd to add user, echo, passwd to Change Password, stdin standard input, | pipe, and finally for loop.

In fact, you can also do this by extending it, saving the account and password to a file, reading it with awk, and then executing it.
