Skype for business Combat Walkthrough Eight: Installing Skype for business Server 2015

All of the previous work was done in order to properly install Skype for Business Server 2015, and after all the prerequisites have been done, the following starts to install Skype for work Server 2015.

1. Insert the installation CD, and then run the Setup Wizard.

2. In the Deployment Wizard, click Install or update the Skype for business Server system.

3. Step 1: Install the local configuration store

A. Click Run

B. Select retrieve directly from the central management store and click Next.

C. When the execution is complete, click Finish.

4. Step 2: Install or remove the Skype for Business Server component

A. Click Run

B. Click Next

5. Step 3: Request, install or assign a certificate

A. Click Run

B. Click Request in the Certificate Wizard

C. Enter the certificate information, tick the SIP domain, then click Advanced, a wizard will pop up, the default click Next, on the name and security Settings page, tick the mark of the certificate to be exported.

E. On the Certificate Request Summary page, click Next.

F. When you're done, click Next.

G. Tick assign this certificate to Skype for Business Server certificate usage, then click Finish.

H. Eject the Certificate Assignment Wizard and press the next step until execution is complete.

6. Start the service

A new command is added to Skype for Business Server Start-cspool can bring up the server service in the pool, and if you are a single server, you can also perform start-cswindowsservers.
