Skype for Business Combat Walkthrough II: SQL Installation

Both Lync and SFB require support for SQL database, unlike Exchange Server. It is important to note that if you plan to install the SFB Standard Edition, you can ignore this article because the SFB standard will automatically help you install SQL Server Express.

3. Accept the license and click Next.

6. Select the SQL Server feature installation and click Next.

7. Tick the option, set the directory, then click Next.

8. Here you can select the default instance or the named instance and choose Next.

9. Set the service to start automatically and click Next.

10. Add an administrator and recommend adding groups directly
