The Skype for Business Server installation contains a number of different procedures. The installation process required to make Skype for Business Server work correctly differs depending on the details of the environment. Starting with this section, you'll step through the installation examples for a Skype for business Server 2015 Enterprise Edition.
As planned in chapter one topology, the front-end server information is as follows:
650) this.width=650; "title=" 1 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none;border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt=" 1 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/ Wyfs02/m01/70/08/wkiom1wvobdzmttsaaeys7vuvx4287.jpg "height=" 134 "/>
The installation of Skype for business Server 2015 involves eight main steps, as shown in, where steps 1th through 5th can be completed in any order, but the 6th, 7, and 8 steps must be completed sequentially in the order shown in the chart after 1th steps to 5th.
650) this.width=650; "title=" 2 "style=" border-top:0px;border-right:0px;background-image:none;border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px;padding-left:0px;border-left:0px;padding-right:0px; "border=" 0 "alt=" 2 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/ Wyfs02/m02/70/08/wkiom1wvobctjjsqaadlf2x_v6k056.jpg "height=" 297 "/>
Install the prerequisites on all servers that comprise the Skype for Business Server topology.
Note: Prerequisites for all roles are not necessarily the same.
Create a file share that will be used by servers in the entire Skype for Business Server topology.
Management tools include Topology builder and Control Panel. The administrative tools must be installed on at least one server in the topology.
Skype for Business Server works in close collaboration with Active Directory. This process is completed in the SFB Deployment Wizard, which creates groups and modifies the ad domain. You only need to perform this process once for that domain.
A large number of DNS settings must be configured to allow Skype for business Server to function properly. This allows the client to know how to access the service and let the server know what is happening with each other.
To install the Skype for Business Server system on each server in the topology, you must first create and publish a topology. When you publish a topology, the topology information is loaded into the central management store database.
After the topology is loaded into the central management store, Active Directory knows which server will perform which role, and you need to install the Skype for Business Server system on each server within the topology.
After you publish the topology and install the Skype for Business Server system components on each server in the topology, you are ready to verify that the topology works as expected. This includes verifying that the configuration has been propagated to all Active Directory servers, so that the entire domain knows that Skype for business is available in the domain.
The specific actions for each step are as follows:
Step 1: Installation Prerequisites
As mentioned in chapter One, Skype for business Server 2015 requires a Windows Server operating system and meets a number of prerequisites before it can be installed.
To make it easy for us to install the prerequisites, you can install them by running PowerShell commands.
Note: If the server is not connected to the Internet, you need to insert the Windows server R2 media and select Specify alternate source path to install the necessary features. The source file is in the Sources\sxs directory

Next install the KB2982006 patch required to resolve Windows Server R2 IIS crash issues

Note: Install the KB2982006 before installing the KB2969339 and install the KB2919355

Step 2: Create a basic file share
Skype for business Server requires a file share so that the computers in the entire topology can exchange files.
This example plans a file share on a back-end database server and recommends using a standalone server as a SFB file share if conditions are available.
Specific steps:
Log on to the computer that will host the file share, right-click the folder that you plan to share, and then select Properties.
Select the Sharing tab, and then click Share, add the local Administrators group, grant the Allow: Full Control, change, and Read permissions, and then click Share, and then click Finish to close the wizard.

To enter a shared path in the start run, test the share

Step 3: Install management tools
Insert the Skype for Business Server 2015 installation media (if the installation does not start automatically, double-click Setup.exe in the drive Setup/amd64 directory)
The SFB installation media requires Microsoft Visual C + + to run, and a dialog box pops up asking if you want to install. Click "Yes"
Smart Settings is a new feature in Skype for business Server 2015 that allows you to check for updates during the installation process by connecting to the Internet. This ensures that you get the latest product updates at the time of installation. Click Install to start the installation.
Select I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click OK, and the Skype for business Server 2015 core components will be installed on the front-end server.
