Software design is the core technology of software. No matter what software design method is used, the software design stage generally includes architecture design, data design, detailed design and other design activities, it is another important link after demand analysis. The process and goal of software design is to design the architecture, data, and detailed design according to the software requirements.

The software design stage is the place where the entire software development process best reflects the software quality and provides a basis for evaluating the software quality in the future. The task of software design is to form a specific software design scheme from the specification of software requirements. Software design can be divided into four sub-stages: Data design, architecture design, man-machine interface design and detailed design.
