After replacing the motherboard With a Linux server, the NIC cannot be started. For more information, see Linux Enterprise Application-Linux server application. After replacing the motherboard, the system is not reinstalled. After the computer is started, the NIC cannot start. Enter lsmod to prompt that the NIC Driver is properly installed. My motherboard only has one Nic.
After ifup eth0, the system prompts:
Eth0 ERROR while getting interface flags: no such device
SIOCSIFNETMASK: no such device
However, after ifconfig eth1, you can start eth1
The z25_persistent-net.rules file is found in the/etc/udev/rules. d directory, which has the correspondence between the nic mac address and nic name.
There must be two lines of information about eth0 and eth1.
The solution is to delete eth0 and change eth1 to eth0.
Restart solution!
The reason is that this file records the binding between the mca and the device number. After the new motherboard is changed, the mca address does not match the device number eth0. Therefore, eth0 cannot be started. Delete previous nac information. Change it to the existing one!
