Before WINDOWS10, a new system user Userfirst will automatically add a Userfirst folder to the users under System disk C.
In the current case, if you change the user name Usersecond, at this point, the users under C will not generate a Usersecond folder, but the
Userfirst folder.
Solution:
1. Log in by using the another administrative account.
(also create an Administrator account Userthird)
Note need create a new administrative account at first.
2. Go to the Cusers folder and rename the sub folder with the original user name to the new user name.
(Exit Usersecond account, use Userthird account to enter the computer, manually change C:¥users¥userfirst to C:¥users¥usersecond)
3. Go to registry and modify the registry value ProfileImagePath to the new path name.
(Enter the following registry, locate the relevant path, locate ProfileImagePath =c:¥users¥userfirst, change it to
ProfileImagePath =c:¥users¥usersecond)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Nt\currentversion\profilelist\<user SID>\
End!
