Solution to the Problem of installing Oracle11g to run java in Fedora8

Download 11 GB from the official Oracle website and decompress it to the file system under Fedora8. /RunInstaller will report an error. Problems with running java
Java: xcb_xlib.c: 50: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion 'C-> xlib. lock' failed.

Solution: Log On with the su User:
1. export LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK = 1

2. yum -- enablerepo = development update libxcb

Then run the command./RunInstaller.
