Here is a summary of the two problems that I recently encountered in Ubuntu with a solution: #1. Here is a summary of the two problems that I recently encountered in Ubuntu with a solution:
#1. Network Connection "the device is not hosted"
If this problem occurs, the system cannot automatically obtain the IP address after the system starts up,
Method 1: You can manually use the following command to obtain the IP address at each boot:
Sudo dhclient eth0 # eth0 indicates the device name, And wlan0 indicates the wireless device name.
Method 2 (thanks to the children's shoes in the Linux Deepin team for their help ~~) :
Sudo gedit/etc/NetworkManager. conf
[Ifupdown]
Managed = false
Change
[Ifupdown]
Managed = true
Then restart the Network Manager:
Sudo/etc/init. d/network-manager restart
#2. Solve the Problem of "No working ethernet card found" when executing the PPPoE command
Method 1:
If you use Adsl to connect to the network, you can use the command to configure:
Follow the configuration instructions to complete the sudo pppoeconf step by step.
After the configuration is complete, you can use sudo pon dsl-provider to enable DSL connection and use sudo poff to disconnect the network. If you encounter the problem we mentioned, you can use the sudo pppoeconf eth0 command when configuring the network to solve the "No working ethernet car found" problem.
Method 2:
You can also use the network manager (click the network connection icon in the upper-right corner of the screen) to create A new (A) DSL connection, and enter the corresponding account and password to connect to the network.
