Solutions to the Dreamweaver garbled Problem

Back up the registry and exit running Dreamweaver (if any)
1.run regedit.exe.

2. Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/Macromedia/Dreamweaver 4/font preferences.

There are two solutions:

Simple solution:

Double-click number encodings and change value B to C (decimal 11 to 12). exit Regedit and enter Dreamweaver. Now you can select propotioanl, fixed font at will, the font and text size of code inspector are now available!

Perfect solution:

Why is the simple solution not enough? That is because only the above changes can be made and only Chinese fonts can be selected. In some cases, some English texts are better-looking than Chinese fonts (for example, I chose Arial fonts in code inspector, it is much better than or ), and the Chinese part can be correctly displayed.

The method is as follows:

Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/Macromedia/Dreamweaver 4/font preferences, double-click number encodings and change value B to C (decimal 11 to 12). Enter charencoding_11 and modify the internal value:

Note that only the following values are recommended:

Fixed name: font name

Fixed size: font size

HTML Inspector Font: font name

HTML Inspector font size: font size

Proportional name: font name

Proportional size: font size

If you are not satisfied, you can also try to change: Fixed charset, proportional charset, and Windows character set from 86 (decimal 134, Indicating Chinese) to 00 (representing English ).
