Because of the software registration reasons, I need to change the hosts file to prevent server Authentication! Then when we modify this file, after the modification is completed, we find that it can not be saved, so how can we solve this situation, can't we modify it? Let's take a look at the solution here.
Sometimes we have to crack some software and server communication, so usually need to change the hosts file to achieve the goal, XP system can be directly modified to save, but Win7 system is not prompted to modify, then we have to do it, we modify the c:/windows/system32/ Drivers/etc the Hosts file below.
First open the file that contains the file, the path is: C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc, as shown:
Then we right-click on the file and select the property option, as shown in the figure:
Then in the Open Properties window, we switch to the Security tab, as shown in the figure:
Then we select the Advanced button for the Security tab, as shown in the picture:
In the new window that opens, we select the button to change the permissions, as shown in the picture:
Then remove the permission that includes the parent that can inherit from the image in a new open window, and then click the Add button, as shown in the figure:
After clicking the Add button, we go back to the window, click the OK button, pop Up the Windows Security window, and we click the button, as shown in the picture:
Then we click the OK button, go back to the first Properties window, and select all the Administrators group for our current user, and press the Edit button as shown in the picture:
In the pop-up window, we check the current user's administrative group, give full control of the permissions, as shown in the figure:
After the modification is complete, click the OK button, and then click the OK button so that you can modify the Hosts file.
