Some minor issues about ubuntu sleep

My machine sleep after Ubuntu7.0.4 some problems, refer to this post made a sudoapt-getinstalluswsuspsudos2disk # CAUTION: makesuredataissavedforthistest! Sudo apt-get install uswsusp
Sudo s2disk # CAUTION: make sure data is saved for this test!

Download the following two files:
Hal-system-power-hibernate-linux
Hal-system-power-suspend-linux

Sudo cp hal-system-*/usr/lib/hal/scripts/linux/
Sudo chmod 755/usr/lib/hal/scripts/linux /*

However, after completing the job, I can only use the sudo s2disk command to sleep. The sleep on the graphic interface still fails.
