After Fedora9 is installed, some small annoying problems are found and some optimizations have been made. 1. yum acceleration: The yum speed of Fedora is really dizzy. A small file has to be upgraded for a long time. I can't stand it! The solution here is to add a third-party yum source. I like Linvna very much and feel that the speed is still good, so I have been using it! Installing the linvna source is simple. You only need to enter rpm-ivhhttp: // rpm.livna.org/livna-release in the terminal.

1. yum acceleration: The yum speed of Fedora is really dizzy. A small file has to be upgraded for a long time. I can't stand it! The solution here is to add a third-party yum source. I like Linvna very much and feel that the speed is still good, so I have been using it! Installing the linvna source is simple. You only need to input rpm-ivh Plugin in the terminal. My favorite method is to go to http://rpm.livna.org/rlowiki/to find the corresponding rpmdownload to the terminal, then rpm-ivh livna-release-9.rpm
2. After the linvna source is installed, you will feel a lot faster when you restart yum! So far, I am not very used to calling commands in a terminal, although I have come from the dos era. I'm used to mouse-down operations on windows, but I'm not used to typing on the keyboard. In the terminal, yum is also a little inconvenient. Of course, in linux, you can find everything you want. You can also use yumex with a graphical interface. After yumex is installed, it feels like you have returned to the 21st century!
3. The Chinese Characters Under Fedora 9 are already good, but I have installed the wenquanyi font based on my habits. Enter wqy in yumex and find three packages. One of them is for fedora8 and I have installed the other two. Then, in "System"-"Preferences"-"Perception", click "appearance" to set your font. The interface is much more comfortable.
4. In Fedora 9, Chinese input methods are not provided by default, which is really hateful! Of course I want to install it. After all, I am not a foreigner. I can't just use a. B. c to express all my feelings! Enter scim in yumex and find many input methods. I only select scim-lang-chinese and install the dependency package automatically! After installation, you can see the input method settings in "System"-"Preferences"-"Personal". Enable the input method. Remember to set the shortcut key!
After a few small integers above, Fedora 9 can basically meet my requirements.
