Install Squash
Squash currently provides the deb Binary Package and source code package. If you use Debian/Ubuntu, you can download the deb package and run the following command to install it:
Sudo dpkg-I squash *. deb
Other Linux users can download Squash's source code compilation:
./Configure
Make
It should be noted that if a problem occurs during the installation of Squash, make sure that the corresponding Qt4 library has been installed in your Linux system.
Use Squash
After the Squash installation is successful, execute squash from the terminal to bring up the user interface.
The Squash interface is very concise. Click Add Images to Add the image to be processed, set the percentage to be adjusted and save the directory, and click Resize Images. In addition, you can set other options as needed, such as the file name suffix and whether to overwrite the source file.
