The difference between clip to bounds and mask to bounds

Uiview.clipstobounds lets the child view show only the Frame part that falls in the parent view, is the sub-views out of the unrealistic, default to No, and set to Yes will cut out the excess.

Masktobounds is a property of Calayer, and many properties based on View are actually acting on calayer. Whether sublayers cut layer boundaries, default to No

BlueView.layer.maskToBounds = yes is the same as Blueview.cliptobounds = yes, and any property can be set arbitrarily.
