The difference between const and static in PHP

Source: Internet
Author: User
Class test{    static $test _var = ten;    Const TEST_CONST = 5;} echo Test:: $test _var;   return 10echo Test::my_const;  Return 5Test:: $test _var =;   echo Test:: $test _var; return 20test::test_const =;  Error

In fact, the concepts are completely different, but sometimes the use may confuse

Static variables, followed by the PHP variable naming convention, can be accessed and modified when the class is not instantiated.

Const is a constant meaning, followed by a constant naming convention (which cannot be used as a constant name), like define, which is not allowed to be modified like define, but differs from define in that a const variable can be placed in a class to implement Test::test_ Const to access this way.
