Ultra-Wideband Wireless Technology exchanges ultra-high speed, large capacity, low power consumption, and low cost with extremely wide frequency bands. A 10-meter ultra-broadband wireless communication system can achieve 10 times the rate of 802.11b in a wireless LAN and 100 times the rate of Bluetooth, the average power is only 1/10 ~ of the above system ~ 1/100, and has lower costs. Figure 1 shows the space communication capacity of various short-range wireless communication systems. It can be seen that the advantages of the ultra-wideband Communication System are remarkable. However, this does not mean that the ultra-broadband system can replace other systems, but depends on the actual situation.
Figure 2 shows the comparison between ultra-wideband and WLAN technologies. The figure shows that the distance is less than 20 meters and 85 meters, and the corresponding ultra-broadband technology is superior to that of the wireless LAN in terms of speed, capacity, power consumption and cost, while the distance is between 20 and 85 meters ~ 85 meters, WLAN has advantages.
